Hey, your grandmother aka Aunt Ettie- she would go out of her way to do anything for you or cook your “favorite” meal.
When she and Uncle JW were stationed in Alaska she wanted to send me an Alaskan Malamute puppy but could not figure out a way to safely get it to me here in Louisiana. But she would remind me that she was thinking about me and my love of dogs and really wished she could have gotten that pup to me. She was a very dear favorite aunt.
My dad- Red Rogers- sister. I never could figure out how she could hold that cigarette in the corner of her lip without it falling off. What memories. Certainly miss her and Uncle JW. They came to visit us on their last trip to Louisiana. I had just had my fourth baby, Daniel, and they came by to bring a gift.
